What is this all about?
1. Resend Faxes:
If you ever need to have a fax resent to yourself thenA. Login to https://www.faxfx.net/fxadmin/
B. Enter your allocated username and password
(if you have lost it or never received one then send a blank email to lost-password@faxfx.net and then your username and password will be emailed to you immediately.
C. Click on "detailed logs" to view an active log of your faxes.
D. Select the fax you need and click resend or download
(icon on top right of that page)
2. Confirmed Fax Delivery Service:A. By accepting your “Read Receipt” when requested to do so when receiving your fax, the fax server notes successful delivery of the email in your log. This allows you to view your log to see which faxes of yours have not been confirmed as delivered
B. Replying to this email will perform the same function as above.
C. By replying to this email and placing a description of the fax you have received in the “subject” line (once you have viewed your fax) then this description will be logged against that fax in the log for identification purposes later. (Companies should make this policy due to the large number of faxes that a company must manage).3. Personal Preferences:
This service has a vast array of options which a user can customize to suite their preferences.These include
A. Fax format preference. Currently the following formats are supported;
- i. TIF – This is the standard MS Windows image standard. Multi-page TIF files are generically supported without additional software by Windows 2000 or higher. If this is a problem please download suitable software indicated below (Picasa)
- ii. PDF (Adobe Acrobat format). Fast becoming the preferred option
- iii. PS (Post Script) Unix and Mac systems prefer this format as standard
B. Sign up your friend/family/colleagues/other. There are 3 ways at present being;
- i. Send an Email to zirk@inx.co.za with the email address of the proposed user in the subject field (please make sure the email address is CORRECT as this is the single biggest problem during registration.
You can login and adjust any users\' details that you have signed up.) - ii. log in and click on "add single user" to add a user (mandatory fields include email address and a password [entered twice])
4. Are you having problems viewing your TIF attachment from an MS Windows machine? If you
A. cannot open the attachment to this email, or
B. you can only view the first page, or
C. the fax comes out black, or
D. you machine does not have an associated TIF viewer installedClick here to download adobe acrobat

- This is a PROFESSIONAL service. Your information will never be given or sold to third parties.
- Your faxes are secured so they cannot be seen by anyone other than yourself, not even us (compliant to privacy requirements under South African Law).
- 0866 numbers are only routable within the Borders of South Africa - a constraint by Telkom.
How does the service work?
Give out your personal fax number (0866070809) to everyone (via email update, business cards, letterheads, etc). Someone will send you a fax to 0866070809
The fax is received SECURELY by our servers which forwards the fax directly to your email address as an attachment. (expected delivery time between 40 seconds and 3 minutes depending on your mail server)
Every time you download you emails, you receive your faxes directly into your inbox. NB! Please accept the "READ RECEIPT" when you open a fax email - this confirms to our servers that you have received the Fax and is reflected as such in your fax log.

Please NoteThe user acknowledges that should he/she not use his/her fax number for more than calendar months or have a minimum balance of R100 then his/her fax number may be suspended for re-issue to the next subscriber.
Telkom charges the fax sender R2.02 per minute including VAT to send to a 0866 number - The 0866 Subscriber is not charged to receive faxes on this service
What's the Catch?
Fax TO EMAIL earns revenue through a rebate system from Telkom for calls made to the allocated numbers. This revenue is sufficient for Fax TO EMAIL to support this fax reception service at no charge to the end user, yet still delivering a corporate level service.
